Our speaker at the next meeting of Congleton Dane Probus Club on Monday 19th November is Rodger Burgess, a retired Police Officer with a keen interest in history, both local and the First World War. He gives presentations on different subjects and lives in Holmes Chapel. His presentation A Moment in Time recounts how a chance find in the attic leads to a search lasting over 50 years to discover what happened to 3 members of his family who were lost at the Somme.
