His talk to us on the 15th of May will be about the life and times of James Brindley, Millwright and Canal Engineer 1716 – 1772. From humble beginnings, Brindley established himself as one of the most respected engineers in Britain. Who was this larger than life character who today we call the Father of British Waterways?
If you are a retired man from either a business or professional background and you would like to come along, listen to the talk and find out more about the Club then please contact us via our website and we shall be pleased to make you welcome as a guest of one of our members.
