The speaker at our next meeting on Monday 12th August will be Cath Couzens.
Cath is a Medical Herbalist based in Macclesfield, and runs a private online clinic supporting patients all over the UK, as well as hosting workshops, events and herb walks. She previously ran an international PR agency until a health crisis landed her in hospital. After months of feeling ill she saw an herbalist and made a full recovery. This led her to retrain, starting a four year full time degree level course in herbal medicine and qualifying with the Dorothy Carroll Award for final year clinical examinations in 2022.
Cath has recently completed additional training to be a Junior Herbalist Club Leader and is bringing Junior Herbalist Club classes for children to Cheshire for the first time in the course’s 10 year history.
Congleton Dane Probus Club is a friendly group of retired professional and business men and women. Monthly talks are invariably very well presented, sometimes humorous, sometimes informative, and always entertaining.
