Don was able to give out more details about the proposed trip to Holland in May of next year, the dates now being from the 10th to the 13th of May but the price staying the same at £287 per person and this to include all evening meals.

Don was able to thank Gordon Watkin for organising an excellent autumn lunch, Don Cole for putting in place an interesting and well supported trip to the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester and also to Brian Cook for organising the annual golf match which, whilst the result was not altogether in our favour, had proved to be a very enjoyable event.

It was confirmed that the spring lunch will take place in March 2015 and that the AGM will be on the 17th of November, a request being made that any nominations for office for the forthcoming year should be sent to the secretary by the 10th of November.

The speaker Ray Jackson gave an excellent and well illustrated talk on the work of the Wildlife Hospital at Lower Moss Wood, near to Ollerton in Cheshire. The members were most interested in the information and background on what was being achieved there, several questions were asked and Harvey Meeke expressed the members thanks and appreciation.
